GMC Tilefix (Tiles Adhesive)

Product details:

Tile Fix is a high quality, hard cementitious adhesive designed to bond glass, ceramic, various types of walls and floors with regular sized natural tiles.

Preparation, mixing and use:

1. Preparing the face: Make sure all surfaces are clean, dry and free from dust, grease, wax, oils, retardants, curing compounds. and other contaminants Concrete should be cured for at least 28 days and cement should be cured for at least 7 days before laying tiles. 

2.Instructions for mixing: Mix approximately 5 – 5.5 liters of water per 20 kg bag of Tile Fix. – Add water to a clean mixing bowl and gently sprinkle in Tile Fix powder while stirring constantly to break up any lumps. – Blend until the texture is thick like toothpaste. Allow to set for 2 minutes before mixing again. The glue is now ready to use. 

3.Application process: Use a trowel appropriate to the size of the tile being installed. The minimum bed thickness for walls and floor is 3 mm. – Apply the mixed glue onto the prepared surface. Ensure that the tiles are fully supported with no gaps underneath. – Place the adhesive sheet before skinning. and apply glue to the tile surface as needed to adjust the layer.

Recommended Uses:
Ideal for bonding to concrete, cement, and brickwork surfaces.

Packaging & Storage:

Coverage: Approximately 70 – 80 sq. ft. per 25 kg bag using a 6mm x 6mm square notch trowel with a 3mm bed thickness.
Packaging: Available in 25 kg bags.
